FACILITATORS

 

Allan Junge

Alan has over 40 years of experience in the electricity supply industry where he has worked in operations, human resource management and training up to senior management level.

He has also been providing training and assessment services for over 10 years to the Electricity Supply industry, and specifically to Northpower Foremen for the last 2 - 3 years. 

Allan is respected for the quality of the programmes he delivers.

Doris celebrates over two decades of involvement in the New Zealand business world.  

Over this time Doris has continued with her passion for knowing more about people and how they can achieve their full potential and is a Certified Master Practitioner of NLP (Nuero linguistic programming) in business communication (NLPTA). 

Doris believes that common sense and open communication are what lubricate good business practice and that creativity is the key to effective learning.

Doris is well known in the Waikato for her training and coaching skills and has vast experience in a range of industries, including electricity supply, hydro electrical generation, not-for-profit, manufacturing, mining, food processing, government and local body, dairy, and research - to name a few. 

She has worked extensively with executive management teams, through to general workforce.

 

Annette Richards

Annette is a qualified and accredited coach, user of MTR-I (Management Team Roles Indicator), and member of the HR Institute of NZ.

Annette has worked extensively within organizations as Education and Training Manager, HR Manager in the telecommunications sector and privately as a coach and business facilitator.

Annette has a warm engaging style that is successful in developing skills and behaviours in both one-on-one and in training environments, with CEO's through to entry level supervisors.

 

Brent Nilsen

Brent has over 15 years experience in management, human resources, workplace and academic facilitation in both New Zealand and overseas.  Having initially trained as a technician in the Electricity Supply Industry, Brent has a very practical approach to his training and is passionate about delivering training that facilitates real workplace change.

Brent’s technical and high level management qualifications means he is comfortable working at all levels of an organisation.

 

Sean Whitaker

Sean has been teaching and training people in all aspects of project management and leadership for over 5 years. He is an adult education specialist and tailors each training session to the needs, abilities and expected outcomes of the audience. He currently develops and delivers training to commercial, tertiary, private and distance learning clients. He teaches and trains people from introductory level right up to MBA and international credential level. He is also an accomplished, confident and energetic speaker at conferences and events.

 

In addition to his training role Sean is a senior level practitioner and leader in programme and project management having worked in the IT, Telecommunications and Construction industries in New Zealand and Australia delivering complex projects.

 

Academically, Sean holds Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees from the University of Canterbury, and a Master of Science (MSc) degree from Lincoln University. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®). Sean is also the current Vice President of the Project Management Institute of New Zealand (PMINZ) and past Chair of the South Island branch of PMINZ.

 

Rodney Young

Over the past decade Rodney has been extensively involved in working at senior management level in the private education and corporate business sectors.  During this time he also challenged his personal and professional development by completing a number of certificates and diplomas in adult education and business management, including a Bachelor of Management Studies, Diploma in Adult Education and Training and a Masters in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education.

 

Much of Rodney’s experience has included managing the quality assurance of adult education programmes, business process documentation, staff recruitment and sales team leadership.  Recent experience has been focused in the retail electricity supply, contact centre and private training sectors. Rodney currently operates his own tertiary training services company as well as being an Assessment Moderator for the Electricity Supply and the Motor industry training organisations.

 

The last twelve years of experience in adult education and training, senior-level management, and customer service in New Zealand has taught Rodney that the key to operating a successful business operation is having a well trained and motivated workforce.  He is passionate about empowering others to realise their potential by developing their skill base and building personal confidence. Rodney gets a great sense of satisfaction having participants leave training sessions knowledgeable, energised and motivated to succeed.

 

Mark Greaney

With a background in teaching, recruitment, people management, sales and training; Mark has good knowledge of a range of roles in the business arena having explored many areas in his own career.

 

Mark recently established his own training consultancy and is passionate about developing the best in people. Working as a trainer and facilitator for a range of clients including corporate, utility & government organizations Mark delivers frontline management programmes, communication skills, coaching courses, time management, customer services and sales courses across New Zealand.

 

 

 

Jenny Oakley

Jenny is an independent HR Consultant based in Taupo.  Jenny has a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, Diploma in Business Administration and I am one paper away from a Diploma in Organisational Psychology.  Jenny strongly believes that every day offers a learning experience and she should make the most of that, hence she is still furthering her own education at 41 years of age.   

 

Jenny brings 18 years experience in management positions, in the pulp and paper industry, in Human Resources, Training and Development and Health and Safety.  Added to that, more recent experience, as a consultant to smaller businesses.   Jenny's  passion is in leadership development and finds reward in assisting trainees to see where they can make changes to their style to become a better leader.  Jenny also enjoys training in the Business Administration arena and ecognises that great administrators make life so much smoother for a business.  Jenny has an energetic training style and likes to keep her participants actively involved through out the programme.
