The forecast is for Stormy weather!

Our last tip of the month gave helpful advice on “spring cleaning”. Now that summer is drawing to a close and stormy weather is forecast for not only New Zealand but for the rest of the world it is time to think about how to secure those valuable assets:- your people

You can follow the catchy phrase of Fix, fasten and forget, - but we recommend that in fact you do the opposite

Fix, fasten and never forget

Small and simple actions can engage your staff, make them feel valued and keep them happy for a while longer, while you put in place long term strategies for your and their survival.

  1. Hot cross buns and Easter eggs delivered at morning tea

  2. An hour extra for lunch occasionally for dealing with all those extra tasks that these financial times bring to everyone

  3. A friendly message of appreciation for the work done recently

  4. A bit of fun in a gloomy day

AND  an  hour or two of coaching from a professional coach is also a wonderful short sharp injection of additional skills for the individual’s tool box, which has a low level payout for such an investment that keeps on going.
